There are 49 achievements for this game and they are all listed below. This guide will help you to get all these achievements. There are many that you will get for just completing levels and the story mode. Most of the rest will come from completing the game 100%. There are a couple that you will need to actively try for. Finally, there is one achievement that is missable. Be sure to check out the “Hogwarts has changed” achievement. You will have a couple of opportunities to get this, but if you miss them, you will have to start a new game and play again.
Voldemort’s Demise
Complete “The Flaw in the Plan”
For each level you complete in story mode, you will be awarded an achievement. Completing the final level of the game, “The Flaw in the Plan” will grant you this achievement.
All Was Well
Complete Year 8
There are 6 levels for each year in this game. When you have completed all six in story mode, you will earn an achievement. You will get this achievement for completing the six levels associated with the final chapter of the game, which is referred to as Year 8.
Collector's Dream
Complete the Bonus Level
This game has one bonus level for you to complete. However, you must unlock it first. You will find the entrance to the bonus level inside Borgin and Burkes, in Knockturn Alley. Before you can build the entrance, you must unlock the 24 bricks that will be used to construct it. For every level that you complete in story mode, you will earn 1 brick. When you have completed all 24 story levels, you will be able to build the entrance. The bonus level itself is similar to the much-loved Lego city from the Lego Star Wars games. You must earn 1,000,000 studs to complete the level. To do this, you must destroy the buildings and objects that are around you. Build things up and break them apart and you will soon have your 1,000,000 studs.

Complete the game to 100%
- Complete the story
- Collect all 200 gold bricks
- Find and buy all 20 red bricks
- Rescue 60 students in peril
- Find and buy 200 characters
- Complete 24 house crests
- Achieve true wizard on 24 levels
- Complete the bonus level inside Borgin & Burkes

Hogwarts Has Changed
Visit the Hogwarts Foyer in Year 7
This IS a missable achievement so be sure you don’t miss it. After you have unlocked the tent as part of the hub, which you will do after completing the second level of year 7 (Magic Is Might), you must visit the school to get this achievement. This is not the only point you can get it, as you can visit the tent to go to Hogwarts at other points, but there are only a couple and if you miss them, you won’t be able to get it in this playthrough.
To visit Hogwarts, go into your tent and press B next to the table on the left. This will show you the Marauder’s Map and you will be transported to Hogwarts, where you will control Ginny, Neville and Seamus. There isn’t really much to do here but you do get the achievement. When you are ready to get back to business, follow the ghost studs to the nearest portrait and press B.
Halfway There
Unlocked on hitting 50% game completion
You will get this achievement when you have done half of everything you need to do for the “But…I Am The Chosen One” achievement. Check here to see what that includes.
Avid Reader
Use a Quibbler dispenser 25 times
Idling
Stand still with no controller input for 5 minutes
To get this achievement you will need to put your controller down without pausing the game. Leave it there for 5 minutes and you will get the achievement.

Unlock all of the members of Dumbledore’s Army
To get this achievement you will need to find the tokens for every member of Dumbledore’s Army, including all their variants. For example, you don’t just need to find a Harry Potter character token, you will also need Harry Potter (Brown Jacket, Harry Potter (Locket) and so on… Once you have found all their tokens you will then need to buy the characters form Madam Malkin’s Robes in Diagon Alley. The list below shows all the characters that you need to collect for this achievement (but not their variants).

Weasley Does It
Use a Weasley box with every Weasley
During year 5, you will need to complete a lesson with the Weasley twins. This lesson will unlock the large, orange Weasley boxes that are scattered around Hogwarts and the lessons. When you have unlocked them, you will need to open one of these Weasley boxes with each member of the Weasley family. You can do this with any variant of these character and you only need to do it with one variant, not all of them. The members of the Weasley family that you will need to do this with are:

O Children
Complete the scene where Hermione and Harry dance in the tent
This one is not missable, but you cannot get it before you have completed the second level of year 7, Magic Is Might. From this point on, you will have unlocked the tent as part of your hub. You can get there by going back into the tent between levels, while you are in story mode. If you want to come back while you are not playing through the story, then you can get to the tent from the London Street, in the hub. Outside the cafe, on the left part of this area, there is a black car. Once you have unlocked the tent, the car will move aside to reveal a spot for Hermione to use her bag. Do this and she will produce an apparition spot. This spot will take you straight into the tent.
When you are in the tent, hit the radio, near the middle of the room, with a spell to turn it on. If you have Hermione and Harry in your party then they will start to dance and the achievement will unlock.
Knuts and Vaults
Collect 1 billion studs
As you play through this game, you will collect and spend studs. 1 billion studs may sound like a lot but with the red brick multipliers, you will achieve it in no time at all. For any help finding and unlocking the multipliers, check our red brick guide here.
What if?
Defeat every Harry freeplay variant as Lord Voldemort
Unlike the other “defeat” achievements in this game, you do not need to do this in a duel. Voldermort has the Avada Kedavra spell which will kill Harry instantly. Select the green dot on your spell whell to use the killing curse. Set the other AI character to each variant of Harry and use this spell on him. You need to do this for all the variants of Harry (except any DLC variants), which are listed below.

A Dish Best Served Cold
Defeat Bellatrix with Neville (Waiter) in a duel
You cannot use the other AI character to get this achievement, as you could with the Sirius one. You must defeat Bellatrix with the Neville (Waiter) variant, during a duel. There are three levels in which you must duel with Bellatrix, which are listed below. Make sure you use the right character variant and as soon as you have defeated her, you will get the achievement.
- “A Veiled Threat”
- “DOBBY!”
- “The Flaw in the Plan”
Not "Fun Guys"
Defeat 30 Red Caps
Throughout the game you will come across little men with mushrooms on their heads. These little guys are Red Caps and they will jump out of the ground and attack you, if you give them the chance. One good hit with a spell and they will go down easy enough. When you have done this with 30 of them, you will get the acheivement. This will take longer than you think. I remember thinking that it should have unlocked, a while before it actually did. This is not a bugged achievement though so you will get it eventually. It just takes some time to rack up 30 kills with these guys.
Dark Times Ahead
Unlock every bad wizard (Single Player Only)
This is another large list of people that you must unlock and buy within the game. You will need to find all the bad guys for this achievement, and it is not exclusive to Death Eaters. Any bad guy will do. As before, a complete list of these characters is given below and a guide on how to find them can be found here.

Lighten Up
Use the Deluminator
You will be able to get this achievement in story mode and will unlock it as you play through. You first get the deluminator in the first level of year 7, The Seven Harrys. You will have to use the deluminator when you reach the Weasley’s house, to progress through the level.
To use the deluminator, take control of Ron and select the Lumos spell on your wheel. Ron will take the deluminator out and you will see little lights coming off any light that you can use the deluminator on. Walk up to one and press B, and the acheivement will unlock.
A Sirius Family Issue
Buy every version of Voldemort (Quirrell/Tom Riddle/Voldemort)
There are a few levels where you need to duel with bellatrix. However, you can get this one quite early as there is an opportunity to get it in story mode, while playing through the first year. In “A Veiled Threat”, you will duel with Bellatrix or Lucius, after rescuing your friends form the Death Eaters. If you take control of Sirius and choose to duel Bellatrix, you will unlock the achievement when you have defeated her.
If you missed this achievement here though, there are other opportunities to do this in free play. The levels where you duel with Bellatrix are:
- “A Veiled Threat”
- “DOBBY!”
- “The Flaw in the Plan”

For the Minifig achievement you also need to unlock Neville as he has a toad. Also Fred and George have decoy detonators but I’m not sure if they count

one other thing head fish you forgot wormtail in the tall order list not a clue why he’s part of the order of the phoenix but I only got the achievement when I bought him after checking your list thinking my game was glitched.
I’ve completed the achievements for years 1-4 and there are only 48 achievements for 5-7 for me. I went through one by one to find that the “idling” achievement isn’t there. What happened and what do I do?
For “What if?”, you missed Harry (Yule Ball).
