In Lego Harry Potter: Years 5-7, there are 200 characters to find and unlock. For each character you can find a round token, either lying around the HUB, or within levels themselves. Each level has three tokens to find, giving you 72 of the characters. The rest must be found while free-roaming around the school. When you have found the token, you can then go to Madam Malkin’s Robes, in Diagon Alley, to buy the character.
The guide below tells you where each token is within the game. They are listed in the order that they will appear in Madam Malkin’s shop. If you are missing a token, you can work out which one it is by looking at the ones above and below it in the table.

When you get inside Bathilda’s house, there are four spiders which will dangle from the ceiling and you must hit them with a spell. When you reach Slughorn’s party, you can use dark magic on the doors on the right, to get out onto the balcony. Out here you will find a Lego pad that you can use to open Hermione’s bag. Pick up the anvil that Hermione get out of her bag and go back inside with it. Place this on the curtain on the left, on the back wall. This will open the curtain and reveal some bricks, which you can build into a Quibbler dispenser. Put on the Spectrespecs and build the spectre bricks that are in front of the fireplace. This will create another portrait in the room. Use magic to turn the portrait around, then stand on the orange spot and interact with the portrait. After a short pause, the portrait will give up the token.

Place this with the other two skulls on the left side of the room and wait for a few seconds. The skulls will jig around for a bit, then start throwing out studs, then they will give you the token.

Have an animal, or digging character, dig through the snow below the token to uncover a wall for you to walk up. Approach the wall with the character that has the sticky trainers on, and one of the other characters will raise the wall, allowing you to climb up and get the token.

At the wedding, you will start near a Weasley box. Near the box, there is a stack of presents on the floor. Hit them with spells to destroy them, until you are left with one black one. Use dark magic to break that one open and you will get some bricks from it. Build those into an apparition spot and use it. On the other side, use the Quibbler dispenser to put on some Spectrespecs. Turn around to find the spectre bricks and build those into an instrument. This will start the instruments playing and the token will appear.

When you get into Slughorn’s house and you enter the sitting room, there is a door on the left that you can use dark magic on. When you do this, you will be able to enter the bathroom. On the left side of the room is a bath. Above the bath is a shelf. Hit the shelf with a spell to knock the bottles off it and into the water. This will produce some bubbles with Lego inside them. Hit each bubble to release the Lego, then build them into a cistern for the toilet. Place the cistern on the toilet, being careful to walk around Dumbledore, who appears to be asleep in front of it. When it is in place, use magic to flush the toilet and you will get the token.

to get Xenophilius how the hell are you meant to get a dark wizard up the wall, as no weasley is dark magic character!?
You can only get this in free play mode. When you have used a Weasley to climb up the wall, change into a dark wizard so you can open the padlock. You can do this by using the bumper buttons to switch between characters.

I’m afraid you can’t. You can only play as the Peverell brothers during that one level, and you cannot unlock them as playable characters.
In the weasley Courtyard , I cant seem to have the Goarge Weasley Character coin, I found the Gryffindor shield, the Revenclaw shield, and the Hufflepuff shield, but it seems Im missing the slytherin shield , which I cant find :S , and I puted all the shield in their spot on the wall , am I doing something wrong here??
Have you unrolled the Slytherin banner to get the shield from there?

Has anyone experienced a bug in the Sword & Locket and Snape’s Tears in Free Play? I cannot get the rock to raise in S&L and cannot get the catapult to reload a second time in Snape’s Tears.
Which spell are you supposed to use to get Ron (winter clothes)? I have been shooting spells at the trees with all different characters but they won’t break! Help
Have you shaken the ice off the first? You need to hold the button down to continually cast on the trees to shake the ice off, then hit them with a spell after that. If you are still having trouble after shaking the ice off, target the tree by holding the X button. You can then move a cursor around to target the tree and release the button to release the spell when you are ready.
I have shaken all the ice off, and targeted the trees so it has the yellow/orange circle on the trunk, but it still won’t break. A glitch in the game?
It does sound like a bug. You don’t need any special spell to get the ice off. There are a lot of bugs in the Lego Harry 1 – 4 so it is possible that this one will be the same.

You should check to see if he is in your purchased characters. I’ve found that the character locator indicators still go off there, even though I have acquired the Ron (Winter clothes) token.

That p*ssed me off. I was totally exited to be prongs, but I couldn’t, yes sirius,wormtail (backstabber) and lupin can transforman lupin couldn’t even do it at wii!!!!
how do you get to the divination room?
Find the hallway that has all the other classrooms leading off it. There is a door on the right that will lead into a grassy courtyard. At the back of this courtyard there is an archway that leads to the divination room. (I am writing this from memory, but I think I am right. If anyone knows any better, feel free to speak up.)
Does anyone know how to get into the Ravenclaw corridor?
This part stumped me too. You just have to go to the very far right of that hallway that leads to gryffindor common room, and i think you just have to hang the ravenclaw banners and then put the birds together with wingardium leviosa

Go to the London Street, by going through the Leaky Cauldron. When you are in the street, head all the way to the right, past the subway entrance. There will be a purple pad for Hermione to use her bag on. You will get an apparition point out of it. Use that to get back to the campsite.

I have never known the tank to leak. I know that the spell can be difficult to pull off though. If you don’t get it at just the right angle, it won’t fill what you are aiming at.
mine did the exact same thing. You just go on co-op mode and have the other character stand there to block the leak. Hope this helps
Cant get last charm class token!! The water tank stairs won’t fill completely up to release the hoop you need for the fish to jump through to get the token.
I see no leak and my augmenti spell is aimed dead on. Had another character stand on clam shell and tried but that didn’t work.

you have to use a character that has dark magic and they take control of the character with the ? above their heads
Actually, you need to use Focus on them to take control of them. You learn focus with professor Snape, during the level also known as Focus. When you have this you can cast it on the character with a question mark above their head and take control of them.

How do you get in the Quidditch pitch to get Tonks, becasuse I have finished DHP2 and I can’t get in there.
Using the deluminator, take the light from a lamp near the bridge entrance, and put it in the lamp above the door to the quidditch pitch. The balloon will float away, pulling up the banner and allowing you entry. ^^

how do you get a dark magic character
to get a character with dark magic you just have to unlock a dark wizard character. I usually use Bellatrix, as you might guess by my name lol. I think the only dark wizards who CAN’T use dark magic are the Malfoys. No clue why…
you have to duel bellatrix in the last level and you will get her character token. Then just buy her in madam Malkins robes shop. That’s how to get bellatrix

In the last game, years 1-4 Lucius Malfoy and Pettigrew both could preform dark magic! Why did they change it? Snape. Could not do it there either and Narcissa wasn’t in the last game. :'(

I do play multiplayer sometimes but when I bought the final charater for this list I was alone with no player 2 and even with a player 2 the single player achivements normaly still work but why not this one? please don’t tell me i have to start the game again.

What you do is go to the London street then there will be a place where you can apparate by the lunchino cafe stand on top of the apparition thingy and press b it will also have a little flag with the picture of the campsite next to it!

How to get Bellatrix character his bad and you can get her in last level Flaw in the Plan witch is fighting with vordemort juts get on wooden part and kill Bellatrix 3. is focus in first try of focus harry juts give up but in the 2nd he did it beacus he was mad so dont be mad

If you change your second character to Fang when you’re in the courtroom where you duel Umbridge you can then switch to Fang when it’s time to run. He’s faster than the human characters. I suggest going to the left to go behind the statue as soon as you get to the circular room instead of trying to loop around the front of it. Good luck! By far the hardest piece in my opinion.

I have completed the game except for one character token! Please help!! The character token I am missing is the one above Alexto Carrow/below George Weasley/to the right of Penelope Clearwater/to the left of Marietta Edgecombe.

Did you ever figure this out, or find a different list? I’m playing the PC version. Mine are in a different order than above, too.
My final remaining locked character token is in the top row, 2nd from left. Between Griphook/Dobby/Kreacher and Cho Chang; directly above Fenrir Greyback.
ONE character token left for 100% game completion… and i can’t even figure out who it is, let alone where it is.
