Most of the Achievements for Fable 2 are pretty easy, and can be acquired just by playing the story. Some you may have to look at the achievement list to get a description, while others are so obscure or difficult that it will have you pulling your hair out. So in the interest of hairline preservation, we here at Bone Fish gamer have compiled a list of the achievements, and the best way to get them. No need to thank us…its just what we do.
You will notice that there are some multi-player achievements here. If you want to get them and you don’t have a friend to lend a hand, you can just make another profile, grab a second controller, and do them that way. Note that not all the multi-player achievements can be acquired this way.
So there you have it. Feel free to leave comments, recommendations or even corrections in the comments below, because being wrong is the best way to learn. Enjoy.

The Archaeologist
Dig up something the dog has discovered, or see another Hero do so.
As you are playing, from time to time you will hear your dog barking. This means he has found something of interest. This may be a chest or it could be something for you to dig up. When he does this, walk over to the spot where he is trying to dig and you will be prompted to press A. Doing this will cause your character to dig up whatever it is the dog has found, and will give you the achievement. You can also get this achievement by watching another player do this in their world.

The Archmage
A Hero must kill five human enemies with one spell.
The best place to do this is at the Crucible. It helps to have your magic up to max by the time you get to the crucible before you try this. Go into the crucible and play through until you get to the Hollow man round. Walk into the centre of the room and hold down the B button to start charging up a spell. It doesn’t really matter which spell as long as it deals damage so you can use anything, like time or chaos. Now wait until you are surrounded by Hollow men and release the button. With some luck you will kill five hollow men, but if not charge up and cast again. May not work all the time but it is quite easy to do.

The Artisan
Succeed at one job to Level 5, or see another Hero do so.
The easiest job I found is the bartender, but they all work very much the same. Once you accept the job you will see a bar appear above your head with a marker moving backwards and forwards on it. If you manage to to stop this on the green portion of the bar, about three to five times (depending on the job), you will increase your multiplier. The aim is to get your multiplier to ten and keep it there for as long as possible. Each job level will have a target amount of gold to reach. Once you have reached the target gold, you will be promoted in this job. Now you can carry on if you like but any gold you earn won’t go towards getting you your next promotion. You will need to quit out of the job and accept it again. This will start you at your new rank, with higher base gold per unit produced, which also means much higher gold for multipliers. Simply repeat this until you have reached the top rank in the job of your choice, and you will get it soon enough.

The Bigamist
Get married a second time, whilst already married, or attend the second wedding of another Hero.
While playing the game you can choose to get married and settle down. To get this achievement you must be married to two people at the same time. Its best to do this in two different cities so that your wives/husbands don’t find out. See “The Spouse” for information about getting married and repeat it twice for this achievement.

The Black Knight
Shoot the weapons from a hollow man’s hands, blow off his head and then kill him for good!
Once you have leveled your ranged attack up to max, you will be able to aim down the sight by holding the Y button. Find a hollow man, (mostly found in places like Bowerstone cemetery or Wraithmarsh), and lock on to him using the aim. Now you should be able to target different parts of his body using the left stick. Simply shoot the weapons from both of his hands and shoot him in the head. Now you just need to finish him off and the achievement is yours.

The Celebrity
Reach 50,000 renown, or see another Hero do so.
You will get this for raising your renown to 50,000 or more. The best way to raise your renown is by completing story and side quests. You will probably get this just by playing the main story, but if your having trouble, keep an eye on your quest log in the pause menu for side quests. Each one will give you a sizeable renown boost.

The Chicken Kicker
Kick a chicken a good distance, or see one getting kicked.
To get this achievement you will need to kick a chicken a fair distance. If you are not kicking it far enough then the achievement will not unlock. If you are struggling to kick it far enough then improve your strength to make your character kick them further. To kick a chicken walk up to it and press the A button.

The Cliff Diver
Cliff dive 500 feet, or see another Hero do so.
Dive off a cliff that is 500 feet high or more. You can get this achievement as part of the story while playing the “Treasure Island of Doom” quest.

The Companions
Perform a perfect co-op expression.
You will need to get this achievement while playing in coop. You and a friend need to perform the same expression at the same time.

The Completionist
Get all expressions, pet tricks and abilities, or see another Hero do so.
As the description tells you, you must find all the expressions and tricks, and max out yours and the dog’s abilities. For a full guide on how to do this, check here.

The Dog Trainer
Teach your dog a trick, or see another Hero’s dog learn one.
Chances are, you will find a book to teach him a trick. But if not, you can get some from the book store in Bowerstone market. Once you have bought one, face your dog and a book symbol will appear in the up position on the D-pad. As you can probably guess, you need to press up and you’re done.

The Dollcatcher
Collect all the Hero dolls, or see another Hero collect them.
This may be one of the most annoying achievements to get on the Xbox EVER! There are little dolls you can find dotted around Albion, but you will only find one type in your game. This is because each gamer profile generates one type of doll only, and there are six to collect. There is several ways you can get the others, but our commander in chief (Head Fish), found the best way by far. There are forums online dedicated to achievement hunting, and other people will be looking for the dolls as well. All you need to do is make a post and like-minded doll hunters can trade them, like the cards you had as a kid. A prime example of one of these forums can be found here. There is an easier way but it does include getting the DLC “See the Future”. I will be working on the DLC achievements later on so watch this space.

The Double Threat
Get a co-op combat bonus.
Basically you just need attack the same enemy at the same time with a friend while playing cooperatively.

The Duelist
String together a full-speed chain attack, or see another Hero do so.
This one is a little tricky but its just a matter of patience. First, you need to unlock the melee chain attack skill. Once you have that, find a clear open space without enemies or objects for you to bump into, because if you hit something it will stop your chain combo. Now, simply press X to attack and, just as your character swings his sword back as far as it will go, press X again. Keep doing this until you reach a chain combo of about ten. As you perform these combos they get faster so the timing will change. You don’t have to hit enemies with attacks for them to count. It will take some practice because it isn’t easy, but you will get it in time.

The Egomaniac
A Hero must choose ‘The Needs of the One’.
The next three achievements are received by completing the game. If you want to get all three without having to go through three complete playthroughs, he best way to get them is to save your game before you go to speak to Teresa. Once you have done that, go and speak to her and she will give you three choices. For this achievement, choose to sacrifice all the lives lost, including the people that built the spire, your family, and most importantly your dog…all for money. Anyway, choose this path and, once you have the achievement, turn off your console and load it in again to get the other two achievements.

The Sacrifice
A Hero must choose ‘The Needs of the Many’.
Continuing from the above achievement, load your game in and speak to Teresa again. This time choose “The Sacrifice”. This is the noble path and will resurrect all the people that died in the creation of the spire. But this will come at the loss of the money, your family, and your dog. Once you have the achievement, turn off your console and load it back in again to get the third achievement.

The Family
A Hero must choose ‘The Needs of The Few’.
Continuing again from the above achievement, load your game in and speak to Teresa again. This time choose “The Family”. This will forsake the money and all the people that died in the making of the spire, instead resurrecting your family and your dog. Of course your free to choose any ending you like, but bear in mind that you will have the chance to continue playing after the end so you may need your dog.

The Executioner
Sacrifice ten people in the Temple of Shadows, or see another Hero do so.
As you play through the game, you will come across the Temple of Shadow. You are given the option of sacrificing people to the temple, which will increase your evil morality. To do this, you must get someone to follow you and take them to the temple. Take them down to the wheel of misfortune and pull the lever to sacrifice them. The quickest way to do this is to get multiple people to follow you there at once, so a high renown will help a lot.

The Extremist
Reach 100% purity or corruption, or see another Hero do so.
The best way I found to control my purity is by setting the rent or prices on my property’s high or low. The higher the prices in your shops, or the rent of your houses, the more corrupt you will be. The same is true if you lower the prices and rent. This will increase your purity.

The Gambler
A Hero must win 500 gold at a pub game in one sitting, having tried each game type at least once.
You must make five hundred gold from the pub games after having played all of them. There are four types of pub games in Fable 2, that are (funnily enough) found in the pubs and inns around Albion. You can play the games by approaching the wandering games masters and pressing A when prompted. The games are, Spinner Box, Fortunes Tower, Keystone and Bloodstone. The last one, as you would expect, is only played in bloodstone. If you are struggling to understand the rules you can find a detailed description of gameplay here.

The Gargoyle
Find the gargoyles’ legendary treasure.
While roaming around Albion, you may hear yourself being insulted. This is because there are 50 gargoyles around the world for you to find and shoot. You will need to wait until you have upgrades your skill high enough to be able to manipulate your aim so you can look around and find them, and aim higher to shoot them. For this achievement you need to shoot all of the Gargoyles in the game. There are fifty in all and you can find out how to get them here.

The Goth
A Hero must dye their hair black, and wear a black outfit and black makeup.
This one is easy, just dye all of you clothes and you hair with a dye, known as Moonless Midnight Black. You can get this dye by buying it from “Fiendish Fashions” in Bloodstone. To dye your clothes, go to your inventory and choose the items you wish to dye, then press A to apply the dye to the clothing you have selected. Now to add some dark make up, even If your a man, which you can also get from the stylist, and your done. Writing poetry in the dark is optional.

The Hero of Many Names
A Hero must dye their hair black, and wear a black outfit and black makeup.
As you have probably guessed, you just need to change your hero’s title. You can do this by speaking to the town crier. Most of the titles you will have to pay for, but by completing certain task, you can get some for free. A good example of this is to kick a bunch of chickens, which will unlock the chicken chaser title.

The Hero of Skill
Complete The Hero of Skill.
This is a story quest and you will have to do it to complete the game. If your still having trouble just go to the quest guide and select the “Hero of Skill” quest, then follow the glowing trail on the floor until you find what you need to do next.

The Hero of Strength
Complete The Hero of Strength.
Complete the Hero of Strength quest. See “The Hero of Skill“.

The Hero of Will
Complete The Hero of Will.
Complete the Hero of Strength quest. See “The Hero of Skill“.

The Hoarder
Collect every silver key, or see another Hero do so.
Collect all fifty keys and this achievement is yours. There is a list of all the keys here. Scroll down to see the locations for Fable 2.

The Hunter
Kill a sweet, innocent, fluffy bunny rabbit (remember, safety’s off!)
Take out your gun and press up on the D-pad to turn off the safety, then just shoot a rabbit. I found a good place to find them is outside the gypsy camp in Bower Lake, simple.

The Illustrated Hero
Tattoo every part of your Hero’s body, or see another Hero do so.
There are tattoo parlours in all the major city’s in Albion which you can buy tattoos from. You can buy two types of tattoos, ones for your head, and ones for your body. Buy one of each from a tattooist find them in your inventory to apply them to your character.

The Menace to Society
Commit an act of public indecency, or see another Hero commit one.
Put simply, take off your clothes and perform the pelvic thrust expression at random people.

The Muse
Inspire the Bard to compose songs celebrating your great deeds.
Just do lots of good deeds (like Quests) and the bard from the beginning of the game will right songs about you.

The New Hero
The terror of Bower Lake must be defeated.
This is a Story Quest so you will have it by the end of the game. But, just so you know, you need to kill the terror of Bower Lake, Thag. This quest you will be given to you by the guard as you try to enter Bowerstone for the first time.

The Paragon
Reach 100% good or evil, or see another Hero do so.
Make you character as good, or as evil as you can, by doing good or evil things. You can do this by killing innocents, which will make you Evil, or giving gold to a beggar, which will make you good. You can also use certain foods like tofu or crunchy chicks to raise or lower you’re morality.

The Parent
Have a child, or be there for the birth of another Hero’s child.
To get this achievement you must have a baby with someone in Albion. You will need the “Come Hither” expression to get your wife/husband to follow you to the bedroom. Now interact with the bed and select unprotected sex, and there you are. One big happy family.

The Party Animal
Get five villagers drunk in under three minutes, or see another Hero do so.
You can do this by giving alcoholic drinks to villagers around Albion. Start out by buying some drinks from the bar. Now head to a populated area, such as Bowerstone Market, and perform expressions until you have a crowd around you. When enough people are around you, use the gift expression to give the alcoholic drinks out. Do this as quickly as you can and you should get the achievement. Not as easy as it seems, but seeing as there is no easier way to do this, just keep trying and you will get it.

The Persuader
Convince a villager to give you a present, or see another Hero do so.
You need to get a villager to give you a gift. Find a person with a gift icon above their head, this will probably be greyed out. Now face them and pull the left trigger to lock onto the them, then press Y to see more details about that person. The top bar should have a gift icon on it somewhere, and a marker telling you how much they like or hate you. If the gift icon is to the left of the marker you need to make them hate you by using negative expressions. If the gift icon is to the right of the marker you need to make the like you by using positive expressions. You don’t have to make the marker land on the gift icon to get the gift. As long as the marker passes over the gift icon they will give it to you.

The Philanthropist
Send a gift to an Xbox LIVE friend, or watch another Hero send one.
You need to give a gift to another Xbox player to get this one. If you go into the options and then select “game options”, you can change the player orbs option to show everyone. Once you have done this you will see all other players in the game, represented as an orb moving around the world. Walk up to one of these orbs and press left trigger to lock onto them as usual, and select gift from your expressions wheel. Now, just choose a gift and your done. Doesn’t it feel good to give back to the community.

The Pied Piper
Start a party where at least five villagers are dancing, or see another Hero do so.
Ok, so this is quite easy. First you need to buy a lute from the general store. Its easier to do this once your renown is up pretty high because more people will be willing to follow you. Get five people to follow you and then play your lute. Hopefully they will dance to the music but, if they don’t, then a little booze should loosen there feet. Just not to much or they will throw up, and then they wont be able to dance.

The Pooch Pamperer
Play fetch with your dog, or see another Hero’s dog play.
At some point early in the game, you should dig up a ball, but if you don’t, then you can buy one from the general store in Bowerstone. Once done just bring up the expression wheel and select the dog tab, then select fetch and your done.

The Property Magnate
A property must be sold for twice the price it was bought for.
This one can be a bit tricky. I struggled to get this first time, but its just about getting the right house and furniture. You can buy new furniture, funnily enough from the furniture stores dotted around Albion. Now you need to buy a house and you need to choose wisely, cheaper is generally better. Once you have done this you can start to refurnish your house. Put the best furniture you can in your house because you need to sell it again for twice what you paid for it. And remember, you can also put your trophies on the wall which will also put up the value of your house. But, you will have to buy back the house to get your trophies back. If you make the house valuable enough the achievement is yours.

The Rogue
Steal something undetected from a building while there are people nearby, or see another Hero do so.
For this one you need to steal an item without being seen, while there are people near by. So, just find a house with people inside but only on one floor. Go to the floor that is empty and steal something…anything. It doesn’t matter what, just do it fast because people will tend to follow you up stairs when you go into their house. If done correctly then the achievement is yours.

The Romantic
Take a villager on a perfect date, or tag along to one. Location and expressions are all-important.
Fancy your self as a hit with the opposite sex? Then you need to pay attention to the little things. For this one you need to take someone on the perfect date, so you will need to lock onto Mr or Mrs right and find out all about them by pressing the Y button again. This will tell you what their favourite places and expressions are. Now all you need to do is get them to follow you to said favourite place, use said favourite expressions and your done.

The Ruler of Albion
Amass a 2.5 million gold real estate empire, or be there when another Hero does.
Simple enough really. Just amass two point five million golds worth of property, so buy buy buy. If it helps, once you have completed the game you can buy Fairfax castle witch is worth a cool million.

The Sharpshooter
Hit three enemies with one shot, or see another Hero do so.
First you will need to buy a blunderbuss and then find a group of enemies, (again this best done in the hollow man round of the crucible). Now just unload into them. You need to hit three with the same shot. so it might take a few attempts, but keep trying and you’ll get it.

The Show-off
Impress a villager with a perfect expression, or see another Hero do so.
You will need to pull off the perfect expression for this one so when you perform it, hold down the A button and you will see a bar appear above your head. As you hold it down the red target area will become yellow and eventually green. once it has done this you need to stop the marker in the green target area, and your done.

The Spouse
Marry a villager, or attend the wedding of another Hero.
You need to get married for this, but first you will need to get someone to fall in one with you. Using the technique you used for the Romantic achievement, (outlined above), will make this a lot easier. You will also need to have a house, which you should have if you have complete “The Property Magnate”, and a wedding ring, which you can get from a gift vendor. Lock onto your spouse to be and press the Y button again, and you should see a ring on the top bar. All you need to do is move the bar beyond the wedding ring, and then you can propose. After you have done this, your wife/husband to be will ask for a house, so you will need to take them around town until they see a house they like, (they will make comments on the houses as you stand in front of the deed board outside the house). Buy it and move in and you’re done.

The Swinger
Take part in a debauched bedroom party with several participants.
Again, this is easier when your renown is a little higher so more people will follow you. Get as many people to follow you as possible and find a bed to use. Click on the bed and choose either protected, or unprotected sex, and your done.

The Teaser
Make bandits respond to expressions with fear, anger, mirth, and confusion… during combat!
This one can be tricky and will probably take a few attempts. You will need to have maxed out your ranged attack for this one, and then find a bandit. Use the same technique you used for “The Black Knight” achievement to shoot the weapons from his hands, but do not kill him. Once you have done this, try experimenting with different expressions, (even the flirty ones if your a man), because they wont all work all the time. If you get the right one, he will react to it and the achievement is yours. Note that this is easier to do against one enemy so be sure to kill all of the others off and just leave one guy to try this on.

The Whipper-Snapper
A child Hero must collect five gold pieces.
You will get this achievement for completing the childhood stage of the game. Just do everything that the game tells you to do and, once you have the five gold you will also have the achievement.

The Workhorse
A Hero must achieve a high-enough chain while performing a job.
All you need to do is get a job and get a times ten Chain. Its pretty easy to do on the lower levels of the job and there is no quick fix other then practice, so keep cracking at it. See “the Artisan” for more details.
