There are many vehicles to collect when playing through this game. They fall into three categories, ship, ground vehicle, and fun vehicle. The ships can be used to fly between the two ships in the hub, or during flying levels. The ground vehicles are used for the ground assault battles, and the fun vehicles are unlocked during ground battles in the story levels. Some ships will unlock automatically as you play through the story, while others will need to be bought form the the correct docking bay on one of the ships.
The ground vehicles must all be bought, but you will need to build most of them in a ground assault battle once, before you can buy it. As I said earlier, the fun vehicles are all unlocked in story levels. You will unlock each of them as you are working towards collecting the minikits. This guide will show you how to unlock each vehicle, where to buy it if you need to, and how much each one costs.

Locate the golden Easter Island statue during Blue Shadow Virus, about halfway through the first area, and destroy is using Hevy or Thire. Build the broken pieces into a tractor.

At the beginning of Rookies, destroy the large barrier to reveal a crate. Use the force to open the crate and build the Lego pieces inside into the Gloop Gatherer.
Crab Droid

Find and build the crab in Ambush! After turning the corner at the start of the level, you will find three round, purple plants on the left. Use the force to raise them up and you can ride the air above them up to a ledge above. From here, use a mech droid, Cad Bane, or Jango Fett to hover over to the right where you will find another ledge with a block on it. Push the block over the edge and drop down to build the pieces into a large crab. You can now jump onto the crab by pressing the Y button.

When playing through Liberty on Ryloth, go to the top left hand corner of the map and find the loose Lego bricks on the ground. build them up and interact with the panel using a droid and the elephant will be delivered to you via air support.
Service Car

During Lair of Grievous, when you enter one of the corridors, you will find two droid panels, Use both of these to get some Lego Bricks, then build them into the Service Car.
UFO

Find the Lego bricks lying on the ground in the top right hand corner of the map during Gungan General. Build them up and use a droid to call this vehicle to you.
