There are many vehicles to collect when playing through this game. They fall into three categories, ship, ground vehicle, and fun vehicle. The ships can be used to fly between the two ships in the hub, or during flying levels. The ground vehicles are used for the ground assault battles, and the fun vehicles are unlocked during ground battles in the story levels. Some ships will unlock automatically as you play through the story, while others will need to be bought form the the correct docking bay on one of the ships.
The ground vehicles must all be bought, but you will need to build most of them in a ground assault battle once, before you can buy it. As I said earlier, the fun vehicles are all unlocked in story levels. You will unlock each of them as you are working towards collecting the minikits. This guide will show you how to unlock each vehicle, where to buy it if you need to, and how much each one costs.

While playing through Legacy of Terror, there comes a point where there are four gold triangles on the wall, two either side of the tunnel. Destroy all four and build the Lego pieces into the walker.

At the end of Rookies, you will need to place three dynamite carts onto switches. These carts are the Plunk droids, and riding one will unlock this vehicle.

Locate the golden Easter Island statue during Blue Shadow Virus, about halfway through the first area, and destroy is using Hevy or Thire. Build the broken pieces into a tractor.
Orange Car

Gloop Gatherer

At the beginning of Rookies, destroy the large barrier to reveal a crate. Use the force to open the crate and build the Lego pieces inside into the Gloop Gatherer.
Crab Droid

Find and build the crab in Ambush! After turning the corner at the start of the level, you will find three round, purple plants on the left. Use the force to raise them up and you can ride the air above them up to a ledge above. From here, use a mech droid, Cad Bane, or Jango Fett to hover over to the right where you will find another ledge with a block on it. Push the block over the edge and drop down to build the pieces into a large crab. You can now jump onto the crab by pressing the Y button.

When playing through Liberty on Ryloth, go to the top left hand corner of the map and find the loose Lego bricks on the ground. build them up and interact with the panel using a droid and the elephant will be delivered to you via air support.
Service Car

During Lair of Grievous, when you enter one of the corridors, you will find two droid panels, Use both of these to get some Lego Bricks, then build them into the Service Car.
UFO

Find the Lego bricks lying on the ground in the top right hand corner of the map during Gungan General. Build them up and use a droid to call this vehicle to you.

the fun vehicles i cant get them
OK, I haven’t played this in a while but I do remember that the fun vehicles are bought in a different place to the other ones. If you are trying to buy them from the same console as the other vehicles, you won’t see them on the list. Try a different console (nearby if you are on the Resolute I believe).

You actually need to get all minkits in the levels where they are found to unlock them. But not a single guide actually says so.

ok i finally got it you get all of the minikits of that level and use the fun vehicles but for some reason i cant get the black car
The black car has to be unlocked in “The HIdden Enemy” level. If you look at the list above it tells you exactly how to get it.
The black car can also be unlocked on Weapons Factory and Battle of Geonosis it’s easier if you do it on Battle of geonosis
You can get it from a ground mission somewhere else. I forget the name though.

I have heard that the novelty cars will only unlock if you complete the level 100%. This means you must get true jedi, complete the minikit, and complete both story mode and free play. Have you done this?

where you said to get the black car isn’t where you get it i found it at the level called battle of geonosis and got it when i completed that level 100%
There are three different levels where you can use the black car and it should unlock in any of those. The fact it didn’t in yours is just unlucky.

There is no way for me to know what you already have and which 1 of the 130 gold bricks you have missed. Hey, I know I’m a bit late to this conversation but I just wanted to say that it happened to me as well.
I completed the Hidden Enemy to 100% and didn’t get the black car.
I don’t think it’s a glitch, I just don’t think you can get it in that level.

Also i would like to note that for all of the fun vehicles you need to 1. Use them to get a minikit (theres a specific minikit just for them) and 2. Once you do that don’t save and exit the level you need to finish the level (you don’t need all the minikits) and then it will be available
i could not unlock the orange or the black cars from the hidden enemy
You have to complete the hidden enemy to 100% to get the orange car and complete battle of geonosis to 100% for the black car.
