There are 147 character tokens to collect throughout the game, not including DLC characters, which brings you to 217 characters. To unlock a character you will need to find their token and then purchase it from the character menu. You can find tokens throughout the hub worlds and there are three to be found in each level of the game. Down by the water there is a small tube with a token at one end. Use a small character to squeeze in through the gap at the right side of the tunnel. Step on two switches to turn off the electricity, then go and collect the token.

“Walking The Bug” Quest – Ambush Bug would like you to find five parasites and bring them back to him. None of them are too far from hi. When you find one give it a hit and then press B to get it to follow you. If you have trouble catching any of them, try using The Flash.

In the first part of the level you will come to a part where you need to move up through large objects that are pressing Lego. Before you go through this there is a blue valve above you. Use a magnet to get some bricks, then build these into a techno panel. Use the panel to get the token.

Once you are out of Green Lanterns force field bubble at the start of the level, you will see three silver objects. Destroy all three and build the pieces into three pads. No head to the left where you will see a hook. Pull this and a hover vehicle will drop down. Jump on and clean up the four green goo puddles, then drive over onto the large, central pad. This will activate two switches that you can pull to get the token.

Speak to Bat Mite who is standing just before the spot where you build the large pirate ship. After speaking to him you will see a bat swarm. Use this to dig up what Bat Mite wants and take it back to him for the token.

As you first enter the second half of the level you will see a puddle that is bubbling slightly. Use a freeze gun to make a statue out of the ice, then use a laser to melt it again.
